The combination of a photo rather a moment being captured over a blanket that you wrap around is such a warm feeling. Every time you use that blanket you would remember the person who has presented the same to you, in case you are at the receiving end. And in case you have given it to some one it means that you would be remembered every time the person uses it. This is the best way in which the receiver or the giver could acknowledge each other’s love. In fact, over period of time the blanket could be kept as a souvenir.

One place that you might enjoy a not-so-stuffy approach to wall hangings is in a game room. The perfect tapestry for a game devoted to leisure and playtime is the famous “Dogs Playing Pool” print brought to rich fabric life by a tapestry-makers weaving loom. This famous contemporary piece showcases six different types of our canine friends with pool cues and beer in hand and wearing hats and vests. The most prominent dog in the scene is a rather large bulldog who is trying to get the ball in the pocket by squinting one eye. The tapestry will match just about any décor, as there are a multitude of colors and tones in the billiard scene. The colors range from the green of the pool table felt to the oranges and browns of the animals’ coats to the blues and grays of the dogs’ clothing and the balls on the pool table.

Lets talk about love and affection….
The koi fish from Japan is all about this and they have been bred for variety and sometime this introduces mutations that developed more than 100 varieties and colors in single species of fish. This also included glossy scaled varieties of Germany. This variety is now referred as the German carp. All of this variety created many forms of beauty and in turn love and affection.
Koi means love and affection. It is pleasant to know that your wall decor such as a wall tapestry is not a mere wall decor but is a tapestry that adds warmth and love symbols to the entire aura and brightens your room. These Koi fish tapestries give a nice feeling of tranquility and the serene effect relaxes your mind.
Indeed tapestry is also a relaxing art work and is designed to bestow you with a calm feeling. The artwork displaying the Koi fish swimming amidst the lilies truly attracts the dragonflies making them move around the canvas.

Let’s create a small breakfast room or morning room with just a few simple pieces of furniture and some of the vogue tapestries. Again, a soft white would be the best choice for the room. You could go with a very light eggshell as well. The floor could be a cobblestone tile or slate ceramic types. Ideally, whatever is chosen for the floor should be in shades of grays. Now for furniture all that is needed is a bistro table ideally with a glass top and bistro chairs. Now the focal point being the vogue tapestries will be two. The Black Gloves and the White Gloves.
You are going to see that both of these pieces have their own unique colors but they also have some colors in common as well. Itís these common colors that you want to use for your accessories. A round small center cloth such as a doily in one of these colors with a black sleek vase holding a single flower would be the perfect touch for the table.
And that’s how simple it is when it comes to changing up the decor in your home the planet friendly way and a cool vogue look at the same time.

Take a famous work of art that is good for our souls when we view it and you know what? It is good for the earth, too. Why? Energy of a positive force is good for us and our homes and our environment. So enjoy some art when you’ve found time to stop and smell the roses. Let’s take a quick look at Wheat Field with Crows by Van Gogh, a true masterpiece.
One of Vincent Van Gogh’s most debated paintings is Wheat Field with Crows. Although it is one of his most powerful, it is also one where interpretations are as varied as the colors the artist uses. Some see the painting as a sort of “suicide note” that Van Gogh has translated onto the canvas. Still others see it in a more positive light, as a depiction of a turbulent yet resigned mind.
Serious talk but education and understanding comes when looking into and studying the arts.

Gifts that are eco-friendly 100% cotton and fun… check this review out for yourselves.
For your sisters or brothers birthday, you could find an old photo of when you were growing up and have this put on a blanket the pillow. Let’s say your Mom is an avid gardener. Take a picture of her garden and have the photo gift of a pillow made with this for Mothers Day. If Dad or hubby is a fisherman then get a picture taken hopefully when they have made a good catch. That way they have the perfect trophy. You can do the same if they participate in any other sport,
For the wedding, there is so much you could have done with these pillows. If you are the bride then these would make wonder thank you gifts for your wedding party. Do each one differently. Just ensure the day of the wedding that you and your groom have a picture taken with each person individually so you can really personalize his or her gift or the group of grooms and bridesmaids is wonderful too. This would be a wonderful gift for the parents as well.
Now if you are thinking of a gift for your Child’s teacher, then getting a class picture in which your child is included would be a very well thought of gift. They make a wonderful keepsake for a wedding or anniversary.
Once you have started to get your creativity going there will be no stopping you when it comes to whom to give these wonderful photo gifts to.

This can be fun when we try to create a great planet friendly product to your rooms decor. Let’s get started… with Wysocki, the cat artist.
To begin with, the key is not to overpower the room with cats. Take a look at the Wysocki cat throws and pick out just one that you like the best. Let’s pick the “all burned out” one. This is the one where two cats are sprawled beside each other in front of a fireplace. I chose this particular one to show you how to work with the colors. If you are painting the walls then go with the pale cream yellow that you see in the center of the flame.
Then from there you can go with any of the colors in the cats for your carpet. With some neutral colored furniture and the cat throw open and draped over a chesterfield the room is going to look warm, rich and inviting. It’s all a matter of working with the colors in the throw and using the throw as the focal point. With it being done line this it is not over run with cats (no pun intended) yet is a room any cat lover would find most enjoyable. When it comes to pictures for the wall go with florals or spring/summer/fall scenes of valleys and meadows. Even though the cats we are talking about here don’t forget they are part of the cat family and they inhabitant is in the natural.
There are many varieties of Wysocki cat throws to choose from. You can create a totally different atmosphere with whichever one you choose. You can actually change your room from a spring/summer time period to a fall/winter simply by changing your cat throw, a few accessories and your drapes.
If you just want to purchase a Wysocki for the sake of having one because they are such a wonderful item, then no problem just use it as the bedspread for your bed and enjoy.

You can actually Go Green by making your own cleaners for your home and find you’ll be less toxic to the environment. A couple things to have on had are soap, vinegar, lemon and baking soda. You can do a lot with just these four (4) ingredients. This can save money, time and the need to be recycling the containers that you might have purchased with store bought cleaners. The big bonus is we improve our air quality by using our own products.
Tips:
- Use baking soda (1/4 cup) poured down your clogged drain, following that with 1/2 cup vinegar. Watch the drain bubble and fizz and when it stops flush with boiling water. That’s it and you’re all set. Simple
- You can use 1/2 h2o (water) and 1/2 vinegar mixed together to clean any glass surface in your home. Works like magic and is less toxic than store bought cleaners.
- Carpet deodorizers - cornstarch & baking soda.
- Mold and mildew can be a big problem and you want to clean that up fast! Use salt mixed with vinegar or lemon juice.
- Want to clean your stove? Hot h2o (water), salt and baking soda. Does a great job.
These simple tips alone can save our environment from chemical waste from store bought products, time and money. Until next time… enjoy!

It is important to be good to our planet earth. To become more eco friendly in our lifestyles, if we have not already is important and should not be overlooked or dismissed as someone else’s problem. Recycling is one easy solution to start an Eco lifestyle. What it really means is instead of throwing away your garbage in the trash and letting someone else sort out your mess for our planet, you could begin by disposing of trash in a more organized fashion. Let take a look at how easy this is to do.
If you live in a home vs a condo, make sure you notify the recycling center to pick up at your home. They will provide you with separate bins to help you when disposing of your trash. Paper for one, cans for another, glass for another. Pretty simple. They will come and pick it up and take it away. So, all you need to do is separate a few items from one another and bingo, you’re recycling. It’s that simple.
Next we will talk about what happens to all this stuff, like where does it go and what is it recycled into. Good question.

Who Knew the Climate Would Be Affected by Global Warming and Heat Waves Would Grow Hotter?
The heat waves of the future will be even hotter. Global warming is affecting the weather. The trend is pointing toward even warmer heat waves in the future. Kevin Trenberth, climate analysis branch chief for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado, says that heat waves and global warming “are very strongly” connected. He confirmed that studies in the last five years have shown that climate changes are most dangerous during high temperatures, droughts and flooding. Currently, persistent high pressure systems in the upper atmosphere prevent cooler air from reaching the West Coast. California is experiencing heat waves daily. The nights are generally warmer and the days have become cooler.
It’s a fascinating topic and much controversy continues on the beliefs of whether we are simply experiencing one of mother natures cycles it goes through or the planet really is being changed by man.
Stay tuned for more thoughts on the global warming trends and our weather.
